Credit Crackers love Gitmo

Credit CrackersWhile confidence is eroding once more in the face of lovely deeds of so many kindly governments I am beginning to think again about this crisis and it’s origins.
It is a crisis on more than one level and has more than one root cause.
I am a peace loving creature.
But the deeper I dive into this mess the more I could get started on being not quite so peace loving for a bit.
Let me begin with a little story:
There is this little guy who recently had to fold his little company.
He always was as decent as the next man in his business and had a reputation for being a fine reliable earner.
When the bullets flew closer he tried to communicate his sorrows and mark a possibly imminent liquidity crunch.
Familiar terms of late? Betcha!
Well, little man got nowhere and his cries for help went unheard if not ignored deliberately.
In the end he could not keep solvent and had to call the administrators in.
First thing he did was to apologise all round.
Not that it helped him much. Not that anyone of those who profited from his work many a year calling him “best mate” tried to analyze or understand his critical situation and so almost nobody reached out to him even down to little guy’s own family, conspicuous by their absence ever since the rivers of Moneylon ran dry.
Then there was outrage about the little guy’s big failure and he was condemned by all his peers and their uncle in disdain and contempt.
What was his big crime again? Yes, he had grown lazy, indifferent, he spent too much on all and sundry in return for a little shallow flattery and improvised emotions. He was a wee bit irresponsible here and there perhaps and definitely too naive and slow.
But what is that compared to those miscreants who brought us the Subprime Crisis, the Credit Crunch and now the turbulent volatility game show ‘Recession or Depression?’ soon on your screens in the comfort of your own home. That I call organized crime on an unprecedented scale featuring banks, funds and their so called regulators. THAT I call failure.
So the advanced western world has been entertaining demons unawares?
Really?
Not so sure, feels like the judges are somehow siding with the baddies in the dock.
Little guy is being grilled alive whereas the real culprits are more or less getting away unscathed? Did you hear any of them say sorry?
Can you remember how this breed of fraudsters had been hyped by the media for years?
Investment bankers, fund managers & Co. were considered “toxic bachelors” whereas all they really are is toxic waste.
Watch ‘Sex and the City’ if you feel like to feel sick.
Women were going crazy for those medical firsts – sleek humanoid outfits but inside just full of nothing but sh*t.
These ‘Mr. Bigs’ were hailed left, right and center as heroes.
Motto: how to find your soul mate including a home in the Hamptons.
Speculators on both sides of the cloth.
Disown and send THEM poxy parasites to Guantanamo Bay – THE Des Res for terrorists.
Don’t they have Pilates?

P.S. Little guy is in the process finding his feet again and was last seen en route to a new and wiser life. Like the rest of us. I can see the light from here already.
;-)
