Recession? What Recession???

Recession, recession, recession…last year not too many of those
pundits wanted to believe in it and dodged the mere term by using the old
chestnut ” that R – word “.
Now they are all over us and their vortex of bad news is having a rather unfair share on our global economic village.
It was meant to get rocky esp. for the US but you can talk a serious situation into total disaster by merely quacking how dreadful all is.
That is so in economics, politics and simply all aspects of life.
Like telling a person with a painful condition that he or she looks really
unattractive whilst aching.
All things are bound to go up as well as down.
Circles can be long and short. Change is the only constant thing in life. Need
more?
When we are up there self-drunk tip-toeing on high risk we rarely say “how lovely to be in this elevated place” but you can be damn sure that we start thinking about what could happen to us and cause our of course utterly undeserved fall. Until we fall. Much deeper than providence intended. Courtesy our effing negativity. It’s called “self fullfilling prophecy”. Bon appetite.
OK, International Monetary Fund is now projecting a US recession soon and predicting resulting shockwaves around the globe for 2009.
It’s gonna get tough but…there is a huge boom waiting in the wings already. The thing will go full circle and soon enough, if not too soon we will be up there again being absolutely foolish and ungrateful.
Well, I believe in hope and the name of hope is MIZPAH. The MIZPAH attitude got me out of the deepest darkness and tought me to appreciate every single good moment.
We all need to be careful and make informed decisions. But whilst sometimes it is wise to expect the worst we should not forget to hope for the best at the same time.
It’s the antidote against evil par excellence. And let us especially hope the best for those who suffer from the idiocy of a few already.
Visit www.mizpah.tv/shop and get yourself or a loved one a little token of that all important hope. It’s good, it’s MIZPAH.
Let’s use the “M-word” a little more often.
