The Importance of feeling Mizpah

Credit Crunch - Think MIZPAHDo you feel that times are getting rougher and tougher day by day?
Are you concerned that your life might change for the worse?
Worried about your job or home?
Feeling afraid of the future?
Scared senseless?

Well, if so – you are not alone.
“These are serious times”, says Barack Obama.
Every day seems to belong to the most difficult of them, at least they feel like that.
The media are full of Wall Street and Main Street recession news and fear of losing even more money and security is a painful commodity right now.
So you see – you are most certainly not alone in thinking so.
The state of denial is definitely over upon the impact of so many unpleasant truths.

I totally understand your concerns.
But I am telling you this: stop and let time do the job.
Sit it through and try to re-develop confidence.

Move on from the state of too high expectations, forget the state of denial, try reaching what I call the State of Mizpah.

Apart from being a lovely and safe place from whence you can see beauty and truth the free and elevated State of Mizpah will help you to realize facts of life in every direction and aspect even through the mists of confusion and angst.

Fact No. 1 : Your administrations and those money making communities are simply damned to bring back some kind of good sense and success.

Fact No. 2 : They will go to extraordinary lenghts to stabilize economies and keep you spending money so they can too.

Fact No. 3 : No government can risk to fail so this dangerous era must be, will be followed by one of turnaround, sleeves rolled up all round and refreshed optimism.

Fact No. 4 : This credit crash situation is like a bad contagious boil. It needed the incision, the bleeding and the removal of bad matter. And the associated pain. Let the healing take its course in the form of prevailing common sense and a classic virtue called modesty.

Fact No. 5 : Common sense is a marvellous healer. At least for some time until the piping hot teapot is forgotten and replaced by hubris once again.

Fact No. 6 : Come on!

A few years down the line this will be almost forgotten, only remembered by few as a healthy experience.
Those easy days of spending are over and not likely to return very soon but good times will be back and they will feel so much better than ever before.

Trust that healing process if you cannot trust in anyone or anything else right now.

If you cannot trust in anyone or anything right now still try to trust that healing process.

I keep confidence.
The name of that important feeling of trust I like to share with you is Mizpah. It’s great and it’s for keeps.

You are right again, dear Helena. Selfconfidence, stiff upper lip,
looking where to help, following the true eternal values and not
the greedy market will help to master this crisis. The hope dies last. Herm
